Processed Meat
Processed meat, including ham, sausages, beef jerky, and canned meat, are classified as Group 1 carcinogens by the World Health Organization (WHO). This means you must stay clear from them as soon as possible. This food is directly linked with stomach cancer, colon cancer, and others. Processed meat also has a high amount of salt, so it isn’t good for your circulatory system either.
Try eating white fish, white meat, and vegetarian proteins like lentil, chickpeas, and tofu instead. Processed meats are not part of a basic diet, so you can just leave them out of your grocery list.
