Tips for Sleeping Better
There are many ways to promote good sleeping habits. Here are some tips and tricks you can try.
This one is obvious but consume less caffeine. Avoid coffee, chocolate and tea, all important sources for the energizing compound, especially before going to bed.
Reduce napping. Sleeping during the day will definitely mess up with sleeping schedule. Instead, try sleeping between seven and eight hours every night. Go to bed and wake up at consistent times, that will help too.
Don’t drink too much alcohol, especially before you sleep. If you will have a couple of drinks, do so on weeknights.
Have a cup of lavender tea before going to sleep. You can also spray lavender essential oil on your pillow to improve your sleep.
Have a warm bath before going to bed. It will help you relax and ease your anxiety. Put on some calm music, light a few aromatic candles and you’ll sleep like a baby.
