There’s no Cream In Creamers
Let’s start by saying creamers are mislabeled; there’s no cream in creamers. There’s actually little to no dairy products in there. Creamers are basically made of sugars, thickeners and oil, and that’s quite disappointing.
Cream is a fantastic source of proteins, and although 60% of people are lactose intolerant or don’t digest lactose very well, authentic cream is not a bad addition to your coffee, but we’re saying cream and not creamer. There’s a big difference.
An excellent substitute for creamer and a much healthier one would be cream. Isn’t that obvious? Well, apparently, not for everyone, but DO try to add a splash of milk or cream to your coffee before considering powdered or concentrated creamers.
