All that extra food goes straight into your belly
When we overeat, especially fatty food and carbs, AKA the traditional holiday dinner, our bodies get excess calories, enough to run a marathon. Since you’re probably not planning on running one after dinner, those calories will be stored as body fat, increasing your waistline in the process.
If you’re still hungry after eating an adequate portion of potatoes and roast turkey, eat some more salad. Veggies are practically calorie-free, so you can each as many as you want, risk-free.
Remember, alcohol adds lots of calories to your diet, too, so be careful. Drink no more than two drinks and control your calorie intake.
